Blur wallpaper in app list
The app list is nice. It has got “dimming wallpaper” option where wallpaper gets a tint of the theme.
But it would be nice if there would be a wallpaper blur option instead of color tint. Wallpaper blur option would make the clear visibility of app list. Color tint doesn't look that appealing and spoils the wallpaper look.

Hi, this effect can be achieved with KLWP! https://help.niagaralauncher.app/article/59-klwp-integration

I'm having issues achieving this. I followed your article source. Is there a step by step somewhere?

I just updated the guide to provide a preset that you can just apply, that should hopefully make it simpler for you. Please tell me if you need any further assistance.

Using a 3rd party app causes more battery consumption, CPU usage, storage..🥲🥲 like there are launchers that provides blur effect why can't Niagara launcher 🥲

Especially with all the new blur UI elements in One UI 7. This would be a massive aesthetic improvement.

First thing I did after installing Niagara was to manually blur my usual wallpaper, because I thought this was the effect that make the most sense :
Gives a sense of depth
Highlights the apps
Keeps the style of the wallpaper
I only ‘noticed after that I had the option to dim it, but imo it's not as good or as pretty.
This feature would be very useful, and it seems to me like it wouldn't be too hard to implement.
I hope this gains more traction!

I think it would also be nice to have this blur feature option when the schedule and pop-up folders are open.

WIth Material 3 Expressive implementing blur in Pixels and AOSP as well, I think this is would be a nice addition and would really bring together the design.

This would be really awesome to have implemented natively. The KLWP integration that I've been using (for multiple years at this point) is slow, laggy, and often gets ‘stuck’ (requiring me to change the wallpaper to something else, and then reapply the KLWP paper).
