A more compacted alphabet index

I'd like to suggest an accessibility feature to compact the alphabet index. Currently, on my S25, the index takes up about two-thirds of the screen. It would be much better if it only used only half the screen.

I often use apps starting with 'A' or 'B', and it's quite difficult to reach those letters with one hand.

I've tried workarounds like renaming apps or putting them in a pop-up folder, but they're confusing. Renaming means I have to stop and remember the edited name, which isn't natural, and grouping unrelated apps in a pop-up folder doesn't make logical sense to me.
