A notification indicator (dot/number) without preview

What if there is an option to show only a notification indicator (like a dot or badge count) on the home screen, without displaying the actual notification preview?

Basically, I just want to be aware that there’s a new notification - similar to how the dots or numbers work in most default launchers.

Because sometimes the previews make the screen look cluttered but can't miss the notification.

I have attached a screenshot suggesting a possible way (the green dot as notification alert).
