Add KLWP as a trusted wallpaper to remove lag?

I've been using Niagara launcher for a long time and today discovered the guide page on how to integrate KLWP, including blurring the wallpaper when the home screen is in the background. I'm encountering a 2-5s delay in the KLWP blur, while Niagara's native wallpaper dimming has no delay.
