Adding swipe gesture to launch active app into pop-up view

I would love to see a more seamless way to transition an active foreground app into a pop-up window. Currently, switching to pop-up view can feel slow. Implementing a gesture—such as swiping up from the bottom edge or from a navigation pill to top part of the screen (like Nothing Launcher)—would greatly improve productivity and multitasking speed.
