Additional apps added for 2 column layout

Similar to how extra apps get added when you connect headphones, could extra apps be specified to add to the 2 column layout.

My specific use case is for a foldable phone, where when I open the phone I would like to add reading and news apps to favourites as that is what I use when my phone is open.

Seems to me to be connecting together 2 things Niagarar already does, firsly knowing when the phone is unfolded, and secondly displaying extra favourites based on a trigger (currently connecting headphones)
