Address bar for web search

Feature Request

For the web search we have the search engine. But it would also be nice to have it function like address bar? I swipe up and type google.com and it take me to the site. Now it pastes the same thing in a search engine and returns a result.

If it takes directly to the site, one less click eh 😃

We have added support for entering web links into the search bar if web search suggestions are enabled!

Typing “reddit.com” will directly open the address in the default browser instead of searching for it.

This feature was introduced with Niagara Launcher v1.14.0, which is available via our beta channels right now. The update will arrive on the Google Play Store within 1-3 weeks.

    Thanks again for the suggestion!

Thanks for your suggestion. We plan to make it easier to open web links directly from our search in the future.
