Daily Hub is deeply integrated with the Pixel ecosystem and the Pixel Launcher and it seems Google wants to keep it to themselves. It is not available to third-party launchers via a regular app. However, there is a workaround.
It would be great to be able to access the Daily Hub through a native Niagara Launcher shortcut and also have it selectable as an option for the Niagara Button.
Download Shortcut Maker from the Google Play Store
Open Shortcut Maker.
Select Activities and search for Daily Hub.
Drop down the five activities and pick the first one that ends with “…presentations.HomeActivity”.
You can now Try this Shortcut to make sure it works and opens Daily Hub. You can also edit its label and icon, and lock it so it requires authentication before opening.
When you’re done, tap Create Shortcut and confirm inside Niagara Launche
