Alphabet list overrides widget taps

When having a widget “such as Google tasks or calander

Most taps on the widget (for example for checking a completed tasks or creating a new one) trigger the alphabet list overlay instead of the widget itself. Even when tapping in the left hand side of the screen.

    Thanks for reporting! This one is already tracked here: Widget with fill-screen screen option overlaps with alphabet. Widgets with buttons near the edges collide with the alphabet scroller, and the scroller currently wins those taps. Upvoting that post is the best way to push it, and you will get updates there.

    The left side is not a second problem: the alphabet works on the left screen edge too, it is just invisible there, so taps close to that edge reach it as well (Left-hand mode). Until this is solved, taps closer to the middle of the widget usually get through.
