When I have a widget that fills the screen I cant interact with the widget because everytime I try to press something on the edge of the widget it activates the alphabet slider instead
This is a huge pain for me. 8 use a widget for sport scores and would like to just refresh or scroll left /right thru games. Basically impossible with this launcher. Really the only thing holding me back from a 10/10. 0leasr allow option to start alphabet below the widget space.

I have the same issue. Will be great to reduce the area where the alphabet can be triggered, when the widget is in full width, in the way to not interaction with widget

maybe a long press with minimal finger displacement on the top of the alphabet could trigger raising the widget above it for a few seconds or something like it. when I use the alphabet my finger immediately start sliding up and down on the screen.
this would work with my use case.
this could be a feature turned off by default that we could enable when needed.
