Hello, Team Niagara! I recently started using your launcher, and I think it's great! Very elegant and super well-designed (you've thought of everything, and it's awesome).
I had a mega idea that could be crazy if you think about it. A mega suggestion would be to try to redo Niagara's (entire) interface in landscape mode to make it look like a portable console launcher! Console-like launchers already exist, but the problem is that they're separate from the rest of the phone (you open it to launch games, then close it and return to the phone's home screen, adding a step before you can play). Then we could harmonize everything with all the apps on the phone. I've been thinking a lot about a space that looks like the Nintendo 3DS! With a space designed for the 20:9 aspect ratio of phones, we could navigate from panel to panel through our games, sorting them ourselves, keeping widgets, the time, the calendar, the weather... We could add a filter that only keeps games for landscape mode (so we don't have to search through all our apps), then we could switch from tab to tab and navigate with a controller! (I know we can already use a controller to move around Niagara's interface; this would give controllers a central role in landscape mode!) Niagara could display the number of hours played below the app in landscape mode.
And just by rotating the screen, we would find our cell phone in Niagara's portrait mode with all our apps.
This could bring another use to Niagara, and it would benefit the phone's overall multitasking.
It would be completely crazy!
Good luck to you!
