App icon won't move to it's place immediately after removing it's notification

Hi all, I have a really annoying bug with the notifications feature:

When I open the app to, for example, read the message, the notification should disappear and the list of apps should go back to the default. It kind of works, but when I go back to the launcher the icon of the closed application is moved slightly.

It goes back to it's place after a split second.

Usually the icon is out of place, but sometimes it's doubled and goes back only after interacting with the launcher.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Enable notifications under the app

2) Receive a notification that'll show on the home screen

3) Click on the app to read open the app

4) Interact with the app so that the notification goes away

5) Go back to the home screen

    Thanks for the detailed report, the steps and the recordings make this easy to place. It's a known one, collected here: Icons jump on the home screen in some cases (In Review). Same trigger there, an icon moving out of place after a notification was dismissed and you return to the home screen, also on a Galaxy S25.

    Upvoting that post gets you notified about updates, and one thread with all the reports helps us more than several.

    Two details from your post are not in that thread yet: the icon showing up doubled, and cases where it only settles once you interact with the launcher. Adding those over there would be genuinely useful.
