Cannot adjust Transparency on Battery Widget

I'm trying to adjust the transparency on the battery widget but cannot do so. I have tried to do the setting on one UI home launcher but it doesn't carry the settings accross. Also unable to switch the “light mode” which is set to match device settings by default. Again, I'm able to do it on One UI but it doesn't carry the settings accross to Niagra.
