Cat S22 notifications

Cat S22 Flip, Android 11 (Go Edition), Niagara free version. Notification access granted via adb shell cmd notification allow_listener bitpit.launcher/.notification.NotificationListener, and dumpsys notification shows the listener bound. Notification dots are enabled globally and per app. Inline notifications still don’t appear, and the Notifications option is missing from Niagara settings. Is the feature disabled on low-RAM devices, and can it be enabled?

    Thanks for the thorough report, Ken. Our help article lists Android Go edition as not supported for Niagara's notification feature: Notifications not showing (section "Notifications don't show up at all").

    Your finding that the listener binds anyway after granting access via adb goes beyond what the article covers, so it's good to have it documented here. Whether the feature could be enabled on Go devices is the team's call, and the post stays open for that.
