Community Theme Repository + Discord Bot Integration

I wanted to propose an idea that could make sharing Niagara themes much easier and more accessible for everyone.

Right now, community themes are shared manually through Discord, but Niagara could streamline this by introducing a simple system where:

  1. A Discord bot handles theme submissions

    • Users upload their .nlt file + preview image

    • The bot validates the file and stores it

    • Each submission is tied to the user’s Discord account

  2. The bot maintains a structured theme database

    • Stores metadata (name, author, tags, preview, file link)

    • Automatically generates a clean, organized theme list

  3. The Niagara app can pull from this database

    • A proper “Community Themes” section inside the app

    • One‑tap download and apply

    • No need to dig through channels or message history

  4. A future web front‑end becomes possible

    • Public gallery of all themes

    • Creator pages tied to Discord accounts

    • A dashboard where creators can edit/update their submissions

    • Room for many more features

This keeps everything community‑driven through Discord, while giving Niagara a scalable, structured system that benefits both creators and users.

If help is needed to get this idea off the ground; development, backend work, or even funding. I’m more than willing to contribute.
