Crashing on Xiaomi HyperOS 2

There have been a couple of recent reports of excessive crashing on Xiaomi’s Android 15 versions (Discord thread). Doesn’t seem to occur with other third party launchers like Nova.

    What you mean by crash? That sudden black screen?, cause i also have hyper os

      Ya I honestly can’t tell if Xiaomi is just too common among users or if there are more issues specific to it (aside from gestures). They’ve described freezing issues which sound similar to the more widespread issue of unresponsiveness but the OP was about constant crashing. Other issues include shortcuts not launching IllegalStateException(No shortcut access but launcher is default).
