Customisable swipe up

Have a setting to change what swiping up from the home screen does.Just make a small drop down to change it from search, as it is at the moment or to open the full a-z app list. This would mean quicker access to the app list instead of having to swipe specifically on the right side as well as making the switch easier for newer users as swiping up usually has this behaviour.
