Customisable swipe up

Feature Request

Have a setting to change what swiping up from the home screen does.Just make a small drop down to change it from search, as it is at the moment or to open the full a-z app list. This would mean quicker access to the app list instead of having to swipe specifically on the right side as well as making the switch easier for newer users as swiping up usually has this behaviour.

Please add the ability to change the swipe up behavior. I like the clean style to the launcher but for me its a deal breaker to not swipe up for the app list.

I'll add to this that I'd like to set different actions for when I swipe up on the home screen and when I swipe up from the bottom of the screen (using Android’s gesture navigation).

I'm happy with search as the default action for swiping up on the home screen - but when I swipe up from the bottom of the screen I want to jump straight to the recent apps view.

This is the one thing I miss from Pixel Launcher. I know I can achieve the same by swiping up and keeping my finger there for half a second before releasing, but it's a hit and miss. Please bring back original Android behavior here - or make it customizable as the OP suggested.
