Customize Folder Icon Color

It would be nice if I could choose different icon colors for different folders.

For example I choose a folder icon for my finance folder and set the color of the icon to green. Then I choose a icon for my media folder and make the color of the icon red. I would then have two folders with not just a different icon but also a different color of the icon.

This makes it easier for me to recognize which is which at a glance.

    Wanted to make the same post but not only about folders, apps too. So I'll just paste it here.

    I would like to change colors and/or search icons by color for apps/folders. I'm using outline icons right now and wanted to change icon colors (based on their primary app color) in folder to quickly distinguish apps from each other. (easier when they are not all white). Thanks.

    It would also be nice in general to could pick colors for icons, fx. using the same icon for all my messaging apps but differenciated by color.
