Direct Dial Shortcut

I have several Direct Dial shortcuts added to the Phone app on my home screen. The last few weeks when tapping on a Direct Dial contact, instead of immediately going to the phone app and making the call, I see a quick flash of the system “Android Bot" icon before the phone app populates.

    Thanks for reporting, and for noticing roughly when it started. One thing would help us narrow it down: did the flash appear after a Niagara update or after a system update? Niagara had several updates in August, so if you remember whether the shortcuts still worked cleanly on 1.16.23 or earlier, that would point us in the right direction.

    If you manage to catch it in a short screen recording, that is even better.
