Dismissing a notification from top of notification summary taking me to the bottom

When dismissing a notification from the top of the list in Notification summary list, the screen is jumping to the bottom of the list. That shouldn't be the case.

I mean the list should stay in it's place from where the notification was dismissed.

And also the removal of notifications is not smooth visually.
