Enable calendar event dismissal

When using the calendar widget, under the clock, on the home screen, an event will be displayed that may be irrelevant or an unneeded declaration. It appears as the only words on my home screen often.

The calendar widget's simple view into my schedule and it acting as shortcut to my full calendar is wonderfully convenient to me. The downside though, of an events title being so prominent and irremovable, for me marrs the beauty of Niagara's home screen. Which sometimes feels like a shame when this is the most elegant launcher home screen there is.
