Events from subscribed ICS calendar not showing

I have subscribed an external calendar (via ICS) in my Google Calendar. In the Google Calendar app, events from that external calendar are showing up fine and updated regularly.

However, in the Niagara calendar widget no events from the external calendar are shown.

I have ensured that the calendar is checked in the Niagara calendar widget filter settings.

    Same for me on Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra, Android 16, Niagara Launcher 1.16.23

    Same for me on a Pixel 6. The subscribed calendars are available in the widget filters, though the events in fore mentioned calendars refuse to appear in the widget.

    The same behavior for me - events from a shared calendar are ignored in the Calendar Widget, although Google Calendar displays them correctly (ver. 1.15.14, Android 15).

    Experiencing this behaviour on my Sony Xperia 10 vii, too.
