Feature Request: Minimal Weather Icons Option (Monochrome)

Feature Request

Hi there,

I’d like to suggest a small but useful feature for users who prefer ultra-minimal setups.

As shown in the attached screenshot of my home screen, I’m using a completely black-and-white theme. However, the weather icon (sun in this case) stands out due to its color, slightly disrupting the overall aesthetic.

It would be great to have an option to display the weather icons in monochrome (either black or white, depending on the system/theme). I understand that the current colored icons help differentiate between weather conditions more clearly, but I believe it’s still possible to distinguish between sunny, cloudy, and rainy states even with simplified icons.

This feature could be optional, perhaps a “minimal mode” toggle in settings, to maintain flexibility for all user preferences.

Thank you for considering this idea!

Best regards,

Francesco

Would love to see this as well. Adding another example:

Yes! This is a feature I couldn't believe wasn't supported as it should be a super easy addition.

I was actually kind of flabbergasted that the icons weren't monotone and a flat white to match the text amd clock color already.

I remember making this question 2 years ago on Discord, I don’t remember exactly why they couldn’t, I remember that I had to accept that they wouldn’t.
