Feedback/Suggestion: Improving UI interaction and gesture sensitivity

"Hide favorite names" behavior: When I select "Hide favorite names" in the settings, the space where the text was remains active. Currently, if I accidentally tap that area, the app launches. Would it be possible to make that empty space non-responsive to touches?

Alphabet/Gesture sensitivity: it would be great to have the option to disable the alphabet trigger via swipe from the edges. For those of us who heavily use system-wide navigation gestures, this often activates the alphabet by mistake.
