Flicker when entering and leaving the Search screen

When I swipe up from the bottom to bring up the search bar and keyboard there’s a single flicker of the background/wallpaper.

When I swipe again to go back home, again there’s a single flicker of the background/wallpaper.

I don’t get this flicker when moving in and out of the app list, or when opening/leaving Notifications.
