Font scaling just won't work

It worked on older versions via secret command when font scaling wasn't directly implemented in the settings menu. But ever since it was implemented in the settings menu i.e v1.12.10, it stopped working. After a slight hang, it redirects me everytime to my home screen whenever I chose a font size regardless if it was custom or not. Same case for latest versions. Anything above v1.9.4 loses font scaling functionality both in the settings menu & via secret command.

Steps to reproduce:

• Tap settings

• Look>font>font size

• Chose any sizes i.e 80…120, 140%

• Slightly hangs a little then immediately redirects to either: home screen

• or coloros launcher (if clicked right after app restart, even if Niagara is default)

Tried everything from clearing cache to data even restarts but nothing works.

Currently, I set up different font sizes on older working versions and make backups then use that backup on latest versions to have that font scaling preset. Though, it's very inconvenient & annoying. Not to mention I have to customize from the very beginning if my setup is different than the previous backups which totally breaks the point of having backups…
