In Google Workspace (essentially, the professional version of Google Suite), I can define my work location in Google Calendar for that day, allowing my colleagues to see where I will be working for the day. This does not show as a regular event in Google Calendar. However, in Niagara, it shows as a regular event from the base calendar.
I’d say the correct behaviour is to have it as a different calendar, or not show at all, if that’s possible.
