Home screen 'Quick Replies' option for less info

At the moment, if Quick Replies is on, you see a snapshot of the incoming message to be able to swipe it and preview/reply. I hide my status bar on the home screen for cleanliness, so rely on these to know what’s waiting. This is a nice feature but can lead to a messy screen if there are messages waiting from multiple apps. It’s also actually quite rare for me to reply from here; I usually just jump into the main app to reply as I often need the context of the conversation. As a middle ground, could you make an option which just adds a dot or some other minor (inline) indicator to the home screen icon, rather than have the line preview? Users could still swipe to preview and quick reply, or we could just hit the icon to go straight to the app. Hope that makes sense and thanks for considering! Absolutely love your work BTW!!
