I have to switch to Niagara launcher occassionally
The system switches to default phone launcher sometimes when I unlock the device and sometimes when I exit an application. Then I have to open the launcher from my home screen icon where I'll be asked to switch to Niagara launcher. But the default launcher will already be set as Niagara. I have tried uninstalling recent updates of Digital wellbeing and revoked all it's permissions, moreover I have allowed all accessibility options for Niagara. Please find me a solution for this

Sorry about the hassle, and thanks for listing everything you already tried. This one is almost always the system stopping Niagara in the background rather than the default setting being wrong, which matches what you describe: the setting still says Niagara afterwards.
The step that helps most is exempting Niagara from battery optimization, and on vivo also allowing it to run in the background and locking it in the recent apps view. The full checklist is here: Launcher not staying as default.

Yes this frequently happens in most vivo phones.
I use vivo x200 fe and an y28 and it is irritating

Turn off dev option and use nigra launcher like usual and when it switches to your default launcher go to the settings on the default launcher and switch to nigra launcher. It worked for me on vivo phones. And the problem started after New origin os update. Thank me later.👌🏼
