Icons only in Music Apps

I've got quite a few music apps, and when I connect to my headphones the music app list pushes all the other apps way down. I was wondering if a horizontal list of music apps, with only icons might be a good idea. Options might be the number of icons in a row, say 3,4 5 etc.

I guess this could be extended to other folders, but in my case I'm only thinking of the music apps list.
