Icons reset to default after a short period of time

I've just set up a new z fold 8 ultra after having used this launcher flawlessly for years on a z fold 5. I mention this as I imported a back up from that phone which may be related to this bug.

I have set the icon pick to watercolors and after sometimes less than 10 minutes it resets the icon pack back to default. I've tried several times setting it back but it resets after a seemingly random amount of time. I've tried force closing the app however that doesn't fix or trigger the bug (if it was showing watercolour icons it continues after the force close until it randomly resets). I've tried clearing the cache and data of the app and importing the back up again with no luck. I've tried making a new back up and importing it from scratch again with no luck.

I have not tried setting the app up from scratch without the backup as I have a lot of settings and folders changed.

I'm using a goodlock animated background which may be related to this bug as it doesn't save the theme to my themes.

It is on android 17 which isn't an option in the dropdown below.
