Increase maximum vertical widget size

Feature Request

I like to have a large list of all my tasks on my home screen, but Niagara caps the size of 3rd Party widgets at about 2/3rds down the page. It would be nice if there wasn’t a limit (or have it be able to take up more space). In any case, thanks for the work all yall do :)

Thanks, and useful to have the ceiling named precisely: yours is about how tall a single home screen widget may get, which is a different request from the ones already on the board. More items in the widget stack is about how many widgets fit in a stack, and Widget size per widget in widget stack is about sizing them individually, so this one stands on its own.

One bit of background that belongs with it: the team's widget notes point out that tall widgets start to overlap the alphabet scroller, and the scroller currently takes priority when you tap in that area (Feature Requests • Widgets). That is the trade-off any change to the height limit runs into.

Requests don't usually get an individual reply from the team right away. They collect votes here first, and we work through them roughly by upvotes, so every vote on this post moves it up the list. You'll be notified when its status changes. How requests are handled, including why some get declined: How To Request a Feature.
