Keep Popping up folder open until I close it

I sincerely apologize if this was already addressed, I am a new user.

Can the pop up folders remain open after I open and close as app from that same folder? Everytime I close the app I open within the folder I have to then re-open the folder to get to another app inside of it.

Again apologies if this has already been addressed 🙏🏾
