Keyboard doesn't open, double click required to open app

This is for the google maps app. It takes 2 clicks to open. First click it opens in recent apps but doesn't open. Second click it opens. But even when it opens, clicking on the search bar does not open the keyboard. Tested with default hom launcher and it works perfectly.
