Make the niagara letters actually snap

It's lovely that the letter bubble already has a curve that makes it look like it's snapping from one letter to the next.

It would be great if this wasn't only a visual thing, but a behavioural one as well.

I often have this problem: I let go of the letter search at the letter I'd like to see, but while lifting my finger, accidentally move to a neighboring letter.

Two potential ways of solving this:

The current letter's “zone” could be bigger / taller than the others. This would make it so that changing direction accidentally is less likely to cause a letter miss.

Or…

You could try ignoring the last couple milliseconds of a drag - if a drag ends, and there was a letter change in the last let's say 80ms, go back to the previous letter.

These are just crude ideas and could cause other problems - what do y'all think?
