Media player option doesn't toggle on

Just recently there is a problem for Niagara launcher’s notification. On the home screen there is a notification that says, “Directly check notifications from your home screen”, I clicked “great” and it redirect it to an option to enable or disable it. I clicked enable but the notification keeps showing on the home screen at the place where it shows what media is currently playing.

I tried to toggle the media player option, hoping that it would remove the notification. After doing it, the Media player toggle doesn't turn on anymore. Whenever I click it it redirect me to notifications settings for a sec then it doesn't show me anything.

Thanks for the detailed description, the two halves of it fit together. The "Directly check notifications from your home screen" card and the Media Player row both need the same thing, which is Niagara's notification access in Android. Tapping either one only opens Android's notification access screen, so when that screen closes again without the permission actually being granted, the toggle springs back off and the card stays where the media player would be.

What helps in these cases is granting it by hand instead: open your phone's Settings, search for "Notification access" or "Device & app notifications", find Niagara Launcher in that list and turn it on there. Then restart Niagara once via Niagara Settings > Advanced > Restart. The Media Player toggle should hold after that, and the card should disappear by itself.

If Niagara Launcher is not in that list at all, or it refuses to stay switched on, post a screenshot of that notification access screen here in the thread and we will take it from there.
