It seems like my phone is registering both the PodsBattery widget and the main media player as separate active media sessions, which could be the source of the conflict. If I am listening to media first and THEN put on my headphones, it registers two sessions (the podsbattery app and whatever media player is open). If I connect my pods BEFORE playing media and then ‘clear’ the media session, the glitch doesn’t happen. I hope this helps!!
