Las animaciones que se agregan son buenas pero faltan más, por ejemplo, las ventanas siguen como el launcher por defecto, estaría perfecto que tuvieran una animación que haga que se vea más fluida

Las animaciones de apertura y cierre de apps son justamente la parte que no está en nuestras manos: los launchers de terceros no pueden comunicarse con el submódulo del launcher del sistema que proporciona la pantalla de recientes, así que Android no nos permite añadir ni reemplazar esas animaciones. Es un límite de Android y no una decisión de diseño nuestra. Si la animación que echas en falta no es la de abrir y cerrar apps, sino alguna dentro de Niagara, cuéntanoslo aquí en el hilo con un ejemplo concreto, porque esa sí la podemos mirar.
