Need an option to turn off previously used app or often used app from appearing under search bar

I am trying minimise usage of distracting apps as much as possible. But when I open the search bar Instagram/WhatsApp and other distracting apps that I opened maybe 2-3 times showes under the search bar which makes me want to open it again as it's right there in front of me and then I fall into this loop. If there is an option to have no recently used apps under the search bar it would be like these distracting apps are not even there in my phone which will reduce the distractions by a lot
