Confirming/checking off the Notification Summary triggers notification sounds again on my current device. This defeats the purpose of collecting notifications quietly.
Device/software: Samsung Galaxy S25 FE; Android 16; One UI 8.5; Niagara Launcher 1.16.30.
Steps to reproduce:
Enable Notification Summary and let notifications accumulate.
Open the Notification Summary.
Confirm/check off the summary using its confirmation/close control.
Notifications are audibly signalled again when the summary is confirmed.
After changing the notification sound, repeat this: two different sounds can be heard, overlapping or sounding cut off/choppy. Samsung's edge-lighting/light effect was also triggered.
Expected behavior: Confirming a summary should be silent and should not trigger another notification sound or edge-lighting effect for notifications already being reviewed.

This new report documents that the problem remains reproducible on current hardware/software and adds the overlapping/choppy sounds and Samsung lighting effect. I cannot confirm whether all symptoms share the same underlying cause.
Why this needs faster prioritization: Notification Summary is a main reason for me to buy and use Niagara: peace and fewer interruptions. Re-alerting me when I acknowledge the summary undermines its core benefit. A bug may look small in isolation, but when it interrupts a routine used repeatedly throughout the day, it becomes genuinely frustrating. Repeated regressions like this can drive users away from an otherwise good launcher.
Please prioritize this more quickly and provide a concrete update on whether it is being investigated and when a fix can be expected. Leaving a core-function issue "In Review" for this long does not give users confidence that it is being addressed. Thank you.
