I really would like if the launcher also retooled the notifications. My notifications are a mess. I miss notifications, priority notifications dont work right, and having to go in the notifications setting in each app to change notifications suck. Plus it irritates me a little that my notifications, and control menu dont match the theme. Like something you could designate “priority notifications” and those would be persistent at the top of the screen. The ability to switch certain notifications alerts to my watch. Different notification sounds. Maybe one that say text message, or email.

    Thanks for laying this out! The parts about the notification shade itself, priority handling, alert sounds, and matching your theme are controlled by Android rather than by the launcher, so a third-party launcher like Niagara cannot change how notifications are delivered or how the shade looks.

    What Niagara does control is how notifications appear on the home screen, next to your apps and inside pop-ups.

    Your post also bundles several separate wishes. If you split the ones that are about Niagara's own notification display into individual posts, each can collect its own upvotes, which is how we prioritize: How To Request a Feature / Report a Bug.

    I personally recommend BuzzKill Notification Manager to you. It's a well designed, and actively developed app that could solve everything you desire.
