Notifications won't dismiss when swiped

Sometimes a notification will not clear when swiped and just stay like the screenshot. Noticed lately on Telegram but has happened with other apps. Pressed everything on the bar but nothing. Other apps can dismiss fine

    Thanks for the report, and for linking the older one yourself. It's the same thing: the swipe leaves the gray Dismiss bar hanging instead of clearing the notification.

    One thing worth knowing from that older thread: the person who reported it said an update fixed it back in March. So what you're seeing on Android 17 with 1.16.23 looks like a return rather than something that was never addressed, which makes your report a useful data point. I've marked it for the team.

    If you catch it again, one detail would help: does the stuck bar disappear after you lock and unlock the screen, or does it survive that too?
