Oppo find x9 return to homesceeen problem

Why does it take a one-second pause before the desktop apps appear when I switch from another application back to the home screen? My phone is Oppo find x9.

    With the latest oppo update I now have the exact same issue.

    I found a (temporary) fix with button navigation:

    In system settings, when you search for transition animation and then click on transition animation, it brings up the default system launcher. Then press the button with three lines (shows all Open apps). It then shows you the system launcher as an app. Just swipe it away, and done.

    After a phone reset you need to do it again though. But at least it works.

    I’m experiencing the same issue! Have been using Niagara Pro for about 3 years on my Galaxy S24—love everything about it. However, I recently switched to Oppo Find X9 Ultra, and there’s a 1-second delay every time between pressing the home button and the home screen showing up. It is not a hard blocker, but it does significantly take away the snappy experience I loved about Niagara due to how frequently we use the home button.


    I understand Oppo’s ColorOS probably isn’t the highest priority or a significant enough demographic, but I would also love to get some feedback on this!
