Option to always hide status bar

I would like to suggest an improvement to the status bar hiding feature. Currently, this option only works while on the home screen, but it stops applying when opening other apps. It would be very useful to have an option to keep the status bar permanently hidden across the entire system, regardless of which app is being used. This would provide a more immersive experience and, in my particular case, improve compatibility with a third-party custom control panel I use, avoiding conflicts between the two.
