Persistent redraw delay/blank screen when swiping home (ColorOS)

I am experiencing a consistent 1-second delay (blank screen) every time I swipe up to go home using system gestures. The wallpaper appears immediately, but icons and widgets take a second to redraw. I have tried locking Niagara in RAM, disabling battery optimizations, and enabling "Allow background activity," but the issue persists. It feels like the system is killing the launcher process aggressively. The issue disappears if I switch to 3-button navigation.
​Steps to reproduce the behavior:
​Set Niagara Launcher as the default home app.
​Ensure "System Gesture Navigation" is enabled in system settings.
​Open any application.
​Swipe up from the bottom to go home.
​Observe the blank screen/delay before icons appear.
