Pop-up Folders Swipe Feature

Currently, a tap on the folder or a swipe to the right opens the pop-up folder. It would be helpful if the swipe to the right or a new swip (upwards?) would not open the folder, but the first app in the folder. or the other way around; the tap opens the first app and the swipe opens the folder.
