Recent App List not showing up anymore / Circle to Search not working at all

When in any app, since a few days the Recent App List is not showing up anymore when pressing the square button. This means it's suddenly impossible to easily switch between running apps.

Annoying workaround I found: Return to start screen by pressing the round button. Then pressing the square button correctly opens the Recent App List.

Haven’t seen any OS or Niagara updates being installed recently. Hence wonder what has happened to trigger this buggy behavior. Also couldn't identify any setting which I might have mistakenly enabled and which would trigger such a weird behavior.

When disabling Niagara and enabling Poco Standard Launcher everything works fine. Reboot didn't improve the situation.

Pressing the round works fine. Same for pressing the triangle button.

However holding down the round button should open the Circle to Search functionality but it doesn't. This feature never worked, though. It works with Poco Standard Launcher.

This oocurs on Poco X7 Pro running on HyperOS OS 3.0.5.0
