Screen Rotation not working on Lenovo Legion Y700

Screen rotation is not working on Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet when Niagara is set as the ‘default’ launcher.

There is no option to turn on ‘auto-rotate’, in the Niagara Settings menu.

Niagara is not listed in the A-Z apps index.

    If you go into display settings and change the “display size” (to anything, including setting it back to the default) this seems to fix the issue. Interestingly this also makes other things work better, gboard automatically switches to split layout for example.
