Scrolling alphabet shows all apps, not just current letter

Feature Request

I'd like to see the apps before and after the currently scrolled alphabet.

Why? I usually know “about” where the app I'm looking for is in the alphabet. I don't want to have to be so precise while scrolling the alphabet.

This is the screen where I'd like to see all apps, not just the E apps.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

This was a deliberate design decision, helping the user focus on the current section without being distracted by apps from other sections. In addition, it also makes it easier to find where the currently scrolled-to section begins without needing to look for the section title ‘E’.

Since we think this version is better than having other sections partly visible, we do not plan to add a setting or change this behavior.

I like that option.. maybe fading out the next letter/s until clear… that would look good and be useful
