Shortcuts disappear from Favs list

Bug Reports

Thanks for the active development of this browser.

I have shortcuts that disappear (A17, Pixel 10a, 1.16.26). Regular app icons stay in place, but the direct link to 'My Apps' of the Playstore keeps disappearing after a couple of days after re-adding), but also the shortcut of a Progressive Web App (PWA) keeps disappearing.

Not a huge issue, but never had it before (though have this new phone for 2 weeks now).

Regards Chris

Thanks for the kind words, and for the precise report! Shortcuts vanishing while normal app icons stay put has come up a few times, closest to yours here: Web apps disappear from app list after updates. and Shortcut. Upvoting those helps us see how widespread it is.

One detail would help a lot here: do the shortcuts vanish around the time the app behind them updates, so the Play Store app for the "My Apps" link and the browser for the PWA? Apps can change their identity when they update, and anything pinned from them has to be added again afterwards. If yours disappear with no update in between, that is a different trail and good for us to know.
